Friday, February 20, 2026, 7:30 pm: From Exile, a string quartet program presented by the Crossing Borders String Quartet from Chicago, shares music of hope and solidarity from displaced and immigrant people. The concert includes works by internationally acclaimed composers: Syrian composer Arian Abbas, Rudy Perrault from Haiti, Cambodian legend Sinn Sisamouth, Jordanian/Columbian composer Tarek Younis, as well as “Todos Vuelven”, the Peruvian song of reminiscence. In addition, Crossing Borders musicians have created arrangements of original songs by Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar.

Saturday, April 25, 2025, 7:30 pm: Bay City Whistleblowers,United Presbyterian-Congregational Church, Ashland. Enjoy a spirited evening of thrilling and thrilling moments with an ensemble of flutes. They’ll perform many favorite compositions, including by Pachelbel and Joplin. Members include Erin Cutler, Carolyn Haase, Cheryl Heino, Christine Hulmer, Leslie Kolesar, Teresa Rusch, and Theresa Seppa, with Joni Chapman providing piano accompaniment.

Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, 7:30 pm: Big Woods Big Band performed at The Club in Washburn. Northern Wisconsin’s most popular favorite dance jazz orchestra brought a night of swing music, with plenty of space for dancing! The 18-piece group, led by Ron Bergin, performed classic big band favorites by Count Bassey, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, and more.

Friday, December 19, 2025, 7:30 pm: Handel’s Messiah, Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church,
Ashland. This is ACMS’s annual gift to the community, with free admission.
