2022-2023 Season

The Ashland Chamber Music Society is thrilled to offer you a unique blend of superb performances this season, from classical to contemporary to Balkan-inspired! Tickets are still only $15 per concert, except for the Messiah concert and the Native Expressions/Mashkiiziibii Singers and Drum Circle performance, which are free to all. Patrons can purchase a season five-pass for $60 and receive one concert at no cost. And, students always attend for free at every ACMS production!

To obtain your tickets, contact acms.bh.22@gmail.com or purchase at the ticket table the night of the concert. ACMS now accepts credit and debit cards, as well as cash and checks.

Drew Shamus, Friday, February 17, 2023, 7:30 p.m., United Presbyterian-Congregational Church, 214 Vaughan Ave., Ashland, WI—Experience a life-journey told in original songs and poetry, blending vocals and instrumentals in a range of musical styles, from folk to classical, to jazz, and rock. You’ll have an opportunity to talk with Drew, socialize, and enjoy treats at the reception after the performance.

Orkestar Bez Ime, Saturday, March 25, 2023, 7:30 p.m., Alvord Theater at Northland College, 1411 Ellis Ave. South, Ashland, WI—Join a festive evening of Eastern European and Romani music, with space for dancing if the music so moves you! OBI’s repertoire reaches from Albania to Ukraine, with plenty of stops in between.

Bay Area Chamber Ensemble & Friends, Friday, April 22, 2023, 7:30 p.m., United Presbyterian-Congregational Church, 214 Vaughan Ave., Ashland, WI—Welcome the return of spring with area musicians performing Shubert’s Trout Quintet and other classics.
